Download the resistor color code reference as a comma-separated values file for a spreadsheet, lab notebook, or offline reference.
Download resistor-color-codes.csv
What is included
The file contains the color name, common two-letter code, significant digit where applicable, multiplier, tolerance, and temperature coefficient. Blank cells mean that the color is not normally used for that particular role.
How to use the file
- Open the CSV in a spreadsheet or text editor.
- Use the digit columns for the significant figures and the multiplier column for the power-of-ten step.
- Use the tolerance and temperature coefficient columns as reference fields, then verify the part marking and datasheet.
Source and limits
This download follows IEC 60062-style color marking conventions and common manufacturer reference tables. It is a compact reference dataset, not a parts inventory or a guarantee of a component rating. Do not use it alone for safety, installation, procurement, customs, or compliance decisions.
